Every year, Microsoft asks its nearly 250,000 employees to take cyber security training. The goal is to make sure they don’t put the company at risk due to phishing and other scams. Some of this training includes videos. For the past few years, I’ve been part of a freelance team that creates training videos people actually want to watch.

In 2025, politicians in DC voted to cut taxes for rich people, while eliminating aid programs for folks who aren’t rich. Next thing you know, millions of Americans’ access to healthcare was at risk and more expensive. I helped create this campaign with the team at Quinn Thomas to help Washingtonians find the best health plan. Using honest language and a broad media mix, we guided a diverse group through a tough time. Despite a truncated open enrollment period, nearly 300,000 people signed up.
